It`s crazy how is the time flying by! It was year 2015 where everything started. The very first impulse, the very first photo. Scotland was the place where my passion for photography began.
Since then I went through so many photography genres. From Amateur wedding, portrait, macro, seascapes, landscape, cityscape, woodland, abstract you name it. I can see how am I slowly transitioning more and more towards woodland where I found my purpose.
I remember my very first attempt to create my logo for my website. Everywhere I looked I saw similar type of photo so I wanted to have a similar one of course. This photograph stayed with me for a while until I`ve decided to spend some money and I created a proper logo which I used until now. You may ask why I decided to change my current brand logo? Well the answer is simple. As I wrote earlier my logo represent me and genre of my photography. My previous logo symbolized Mountains, trees and water which are my favourite things to photograph. Don`t get me wrong I still love to take photos of waterfalls or some amazing views but my main focus these days are woodlands and gnarly trees. What my main aim going to be is to capture some gnarly trees in their natural habitat or some solitaire trees in landscapes. That`s way I have picked as my new logo (Brand) Tree with roots. I won`t lie to you I took inspiration from my huge inspiration Simon Baxter who I admire and respect so much .I think is so important as an artist to evolve and develop through our journey.
Today is my another small step forward where I felt that is the right time for a small change. Will see where is my photography journey take me in following years. What I do a lot these days is to try find some interesting places where I can find trees with unusual shapes. So my main targets are forest and woodland or even old apple orchard. Then I pin point these places and saved them in my maps so I have a better preview of their location . I`m adding here a small gallery lets call it "My journey and evolution as a photographer." I feel a bit of nostalgia from some of these photographs. The time where everything caught my interest and I didn`t have any idea in which category and photography genre I will fall in to!
